We strongly advise you, therefore, to find our location, and plan a route before starting your journey. Most of our guests approach the hotel from the A591. This is the road from Keswick to Carlisle, and is marked in red on the map below. 7 miles along this road from Keswick take the right-hand turn signposted to Ireby, Uldale and Caldbeck. Do not turn prior to this junction into the village of Bassenthwaite. Overwater Hall is signposted to the right, around two miles after leaving the A591.
