Owners and hosts, Stephen, Angela and Adrian, have created a luxurious hotel here in the northern Lake District, and their emphasis on personal service and wonderful attention to detail makes this house a home from home that lures their guests back time after time.

Set in 18 acres of gardens and nursery woodland, Overwater Hall is a fine example of an elegant and authentic Country House Hotel.

Walk for hours without seeing another soul, and if you find yourself stuck in traffic, you can be sure there is a tractor up ahead!

After 34 years, it’s time to move on…the hotel will close its doors for the last time on 2nd January 2027. Hope you can squeeze in a break before then!
