Our Bedrooms

We have eleven comfortable and individually furnished bedrooms, all with luxurious bathrooms boasting large double-ended baths and separate shower units.

You will find a vase of fresh flowers, fruit bowl, mineral water, fluffy white bath robe, and lovely Gilchrist & Soames toiletries in all of our rooms.

All of our rooms have the usual modern amenities, including a hot drinks tray with fresh milk daily, a hairdryer, direct dial telephone (can be used as modem for computers), colour TV, iron and ironing board, and a comfortable sitting area with easy chairs.

The hotel is centrally-heated throughout, and we have a log fire in the Drawing Room for those long Winter nights.

In line with recent legislation, we are now a fully non-smoking hotel.

Our splendid Drawing Room offers you sumptuous comfort, soothing tranquillity and a lovely log fire. Relax here with a pot of Afternoon Tea after a vigorous day on the fells!

The Bar, newly refurbished in 2004, is panelled in warm mahogany. Enjoy a drink here before Dinner, sharing your day's experiences and perusing the Evening's Menu.
